Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how Beth Ball Books processes, ships, and tracks orders. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below:

Digital products (ebooks)

Ebooks and other digital files don't ship physically. They're delivered via BookFunnel by email or download link as soon as your order is confirmed, so there's no shipping cost or transit time. The BookFunnel customer service team is available to assist with ebook delivery and loading ebooks onto your chosen device. If a download fails or you can't access your file, contact us and we'll make it right. (See our Refund Policy for details.)

Processing and shipping times

We use several carriers to deliver orders within the United States and internationally.

With the exception of preorders and unless stated otherwise across the shop (such as for holidays) print books and art prints ship within 3 to 5 business days after your payment is processed, excluding weekends and holidays.

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email (or SMS, if you opted in) with the carrier and your tracking number.

Carriers

We primarily ship via USPS, and may also use UPS, FedEx, or DHL. We do our best to match the carrier you've selected at checkout, but there may be exceptions where we choose the carrier that best fits each order at the time of fulfillment.

Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order, the shipping method, and the destination, so you'll see the exact cost before you complete your purchase. All prices on our site are in USD.

Shipping address requirements

Please make sure your shipping details are complete and accurate before you check out, including correct abbreviations. We're not responsible for orders delayed or lost because of an incorrect or incomplete address. Adding your email helps us reach you if there's ever a question about your order.

Tracking

When your order ships, tracking information is included in your shipping confirmation email. If you don't see it, please check your spam folder or contact us and we'll resend it.

International orders

We're glad to ship internationally. A few things to know:

  • Delivery times vary by destination.
  • Shipping rates depend on location and weight, and are shown at checkout.
  • Prices are in USD; your bank handles any currency conversion.
  • Any customs fees, import taxes, or duties charged by your destination country are the customer's responsibility, unless they're collected at checkout. For orders shipped to the EU, VAT is collected at checkout, and any such charge will be shown before you pay. 
  • Customs authorities require us to declare the value of your order on the package.

Undeliverable or refused packages

If a package comes back to us as undeliverable (for example, an incorrect address or an unclaimed package), we'll contact you to arrange reshipment, or refund to original payment for the item total minus the original shipping cost. 

If you refuse a delivery, the original shipping charge and the cost of returning the package to us will be deducted from any refund or credit.

If tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it

Every order ships with tracking so you can follow it on its way to you. On the rare occasion the tracking shows your package as delivered but it hasn't turned up, contact us within 7 days and we'll help you track it down, including opening a claim with the carrier when that's the right step. Because a package is in the carrier's hands once it leaves us, we're not able to automatically refund or replace an order that tracking shows as delivered, but we'll do everything we can to help you get it sorted.

Damaged or lost in transit

If your order arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive as expected, we'll make it right in line with our Refund Policy. Please reach out within 7 days, and include a photo if there's damage.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we'll revise the "Last Updated" date above. We encourage you to review it periodically.
