Collection: Age of Azuria
A world you'll fall in love with, and characters you won't forget.
Welcome to Azuria.
The world has been waiting for one Returned, an heir of druidic magic with a weighty task ahead of her—nothing more and nothing less than saving her world. This task, as fate would have it, is not one Iellieth must face alone.
If you love stories of adventure, found family, destiny, and magic, then Age of Azuria is the epic fantasy you've been waiting for!
Book One: Buried Heroes
With the castle walls bearing down on her and a forced marriage fast-approaching, Iellieth Amastacia is out of escape routes… Until her elven father’s amulet whisks her off to a frozen mountainside and the ancient warrior waiting to be awakened within.
Fate binds Iellieth and Marcon Colabra together, just as a magical curse binds Marcon to her amulet. Being trapped together isn’t enough, as the forgotten warrior isn’t the only dormant force awakening to this new world.
A fallen guardian hunts Iellieth—he knows she’s the only one who can save Azuria from his dark mistress’s plots, and he doesn’t mean to be thwarted again.
Across the Infinite Ocean, the bard-turned-pirate Teodric Adhemar faces a choice—submit to the atrocities ordered by his cruel admiral or surrender his mother’s safety. The decision itself isn’t difficult. It’s living with the nightmares afterward.
In the northern wilds, a druid conclave serves as one of the last bastions of resistance against the aggressive press of the empire of Andel-ce Hevra. What they don’t know is that the city has already made its fatal move against them. An attack is coming, and the magic of Genevieve Vendanges is unequal to the task of protecting her home.
A reluctant pirate and an unpromising druid stand between the forces of darkness that would destroy their world. Uniting them all, a runaway noblewoman faces her destiny—she and she alone can save Azuria. If she fails herself, she fails them all. There are seven books planned in the Age of Azuria epic fantasy series.

Goodreads review of Buried Heroes:
Buried Heroes is a beautiful adventure full of heart, magic, and connection.
This book truly surprised me in the best possible way. At its core, this is a lyrical, layered tale of finding your own place in the world. It's a story of belonging, growth, and the magic of nature.
Set in the land of Azuria, the story is rich with history, legends, and long-forgotten truths. I was completely enchanted by the worldbuilding, from the Champions of the past to all the ties between the druids and the natural world. The descriptions of trees, plants, and the elements felt so alive. It's like I could feel the forest breathing around me as I read.
We follow Iellieth, Marcon, Genevieve, and Teodric (among many others) on a journey full of danger, growth, and transformation. Iellieth's magical amulet, which connects her to Marcon, was such a unique element. And Iellieth herself ~ I simply loved watching her open up, make friends and slowly discover her place in the world. There's a strong found family theme here.
I also have to mention the romance. It's the slowest of slow burns, and it worked so well here. It never overshadowed the plot. And Marcon is so protective, strong and loyal.
There are pirates, shape-shifters, fae, werewolves, druids, titans, Champions... everything you could want in a high fantasy tale. But what stood out most to me was the magic system. The way druids are connected to the land, how their powers are expressed through the natural world ~ it was so refreshingly unique. Definitely something I haven't seen done quite in a while.
The writing is very poetic. Some moments were absolutely heart-wrenching, while others were soft, full of hope.
This book felt like a long walk through an ancient forest. I highly recommend it to all fantasy lovers, especially if you're drawn to Druidic lore & natural magic.
